About a block from my house, across the street from Southwest H.S. Post-prom gathering. The victim was looking forward to graduation and attending college on a full-ride scholarship.

A man was killed in south Fort Worth early Sunday morning after a shooting broke out at a large gathering, police said. Shortly after midnight, officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Alta Mesa Boulevard in reference to a shooting call. Officers found an adult male victim who was dead at the scene. The man had sustained at least one gunshot wound, police said.

The deceased was a 17-yo H.S. senior and track star from Crowley H.S. named Rashard Guinyard Was looking forward to graduating and had a track scholarship to Abilene Christian University in the fall. He was a straight A student, worked at Walmart part-time and had dreams of becoming an anesthesiologist because he wanted to be like God, to be able to put people to sleep and then wake them up. He was leaving the after-prom party he was attending so he would make his curfew when he was shot.

I honestly do not understand the state of the country that this ad is the ad of the _successful_ winner of the primary.
