When does the second hand couch and non-working washing machine get installed on the front porch? The rusted car on blocks in the front yard can always get installed later.

My son was wishing he knew what our area looked like before it was developed. I told him there are probably pictures somewhere taken by somebody who was having a house built back in the 60s.

Take more pictures of stuff around you, even the empty boring stuff. I wish I had photos of the fields around my parents house.

I think cell phone cameras mean the younger generations are going to have way more pictures of their youth and coming of age. There are literally only a handful of snapshots from my college years, my daughter has approximately 18 million of hers spread across various platforms and apps.

Man, no question. Photos of me prior to 2007 or so are pretty rare. There might not be more than 50 existing photos of my childhood, and I'm an only child.
