Another good showing for Hoge this weekend in Phoenix. Going into tomorrow's final round, he's -11 for the tournament, 3 off the lead and tied for 7th.
Hoge shot a 71 in today's 2nd round, then was -1 through 9 in the 3rd round before it was suspended. Overall he's -8, tied for 2nd and 1 shot off the lead.
Hoge shot a disappointing final round 76 to end the tournament -3, tied for 33rd and 10 shots behind the winner. That takes his weekend paycheck down to a measly $67,000.
Hoge begins play in the WGC/Dell Match Play tournament down in Austin this afternoon. His first opponent in pool play is Belgium's Thomas Pieters, and they're slated to tee off at 12:27 this afternoon. He'll face Billy Horschel tomorrow and Min Woo Lee on Friday.
Friday wasn't as good a day for Hoge at the PGA Championship, as he shot a 4-over 74. He makes the cut at even-par after two rounds, but is now 9 shots off the lead heading into the weekend.
