NIL $ for Horned Frog athletes

And if the OL and QB make it to the next level, the star QB will receive tens and maybe even hundreds of millions while the OL will receive mere millions. Besides having far greater name recognition (which few OL have, and name recognition correlates with dollars) the star QB typically has a far greater impact on the game than any individual OL.

That still seems kinda crummy to me. Star QB gets a full ride and big NIL $$. Offensive tackle that almost nobody knows maybe gets some scholarship money. OT is actually more likely to stay long enough to graduate.

Because the spirit of NIL was to be above & beyond the traditional scholarship arrangement.

My 15 year old just texted me a great question. Why do students receiving NIL deals (especially really large ones) still get scholarships?

We inch closer to the day the flying T makes its return to the field

A couple of other developments announced by the Flying T Club last night at their annual party:- They've entered into an exclusive contract with TCU Athletics to license the Flying T logo going forward. Soon to launch an apparel line that will benefit TCU student-athletes.
- Donations to the Flying T Club, already tax-deductible, will now also contribute to donors' priority points.

There's now 5 schools with beer deals. Intereesting that 3 are Big 12 schools (us, Iowa state, Cincinnati).

Very cool:
A percentage of sales of the locally-brewed "Hell's Half Lager" will go to the Flying T Club.

I made pulled pork pancake tacos a few years back. Good stuff.

Love it, but who in the hell orders tacos at IHOP? I had no idea they even served tacos ...
